The Lobo Lab is committed to maintaining and promoting a kind and supportive lab environment that recognizes unique journeys and communities in science. The lab as whole and as individuals participates in activities where we learn about each individual's journey in science and we work to foster communities were we can all thrive. We participate in  pathway programs to provide research opportunities to the next generation of scientists and medical providers. We foster collaboration between lab members and scientist within our communities. Our science is stronger when we work together in teams. We are  better scientists and we do the best science when we incorporate and listen to the perspectives of everyone in our community.
